Summary
A father and his daughter traveling with their respective beaus stop in a small town to enjoy the local hospitality. But when a diner serves tainted beef from a nearby farm the customers turn into zombies. In this attempt at a zombie spoof, the dad and girl try to mend the rift in their relationship while everyone else is slaughtered around them.
Review
First and foremost, this is a spoof. Unfortunately, it's just not funny. I admit there are a few scenes here and there that made me laugh (I enjoyed the scene where Billy Zane debates whether the term "zombie" is appropriate for the creatures attacking them), but there were just far too many lame jokes for this to be considered a worthy zombie comedy. The casual-conversation-while-beating-up-zombies routine was so overdone I almost fell asleep. I love watching a good comedy, and for me most of the zombie movies I watch are funny even if they don't intend it. But this movie's only purpose is to be funny and it just can't pull it off.

Mostly shambling idiots, but being a spoof several zombies exhibited more intelligent behavior, e.g., one was firing a handgun and another viciously impaled somebody with a pitchfork.
Best Zombie Death
Dad Jason, and daughter Amy are strolling through a field having a casual conversation while two ravenous zombies keep trying to maul them. The zombies are repeatedly punched, kicked and shoved away during the chat, culminating in a synchronized, head-crushing beatdown as the pair repeatedly stomp on the now prone zombie's heads.
Memorable Scene
Poor Blake (Amy's annoying idiot boyfriend) gets his toe bitten off as he tries to kick a zombie in the face, then gets shot by another zombie wielding a gun, and finally gets attacked by an infected beef patty. Having had enough, he stomps away from his friends in a huff, but runs into a horde of zombies who rip him to shreds and toss his head back through the door.
