Summary
This is an animated movie about an old man who ventures out into a zombie infested city to buy a new pair of slippers. Armed with his walker, he kills hundreds of the undead who get in his way. He constantly talks to an imaginary voice in his head, who he thinks is his walker. The zombie infestation is the result of rot worms, little crawlers that are capable of entering the body through any means. Once infected, it's a matter of seconds before the body dies and is immediately reanimated as a zombie. Occasionally the old man reads newspaper articles he finds laying around the city, and one article mentions the brain worm. Instead of killing the host, it gets nourishment from whatever the host ingests, but if the host stops eating the worm takes over just like the rot worms and turns the body into a zombie. The symptoms include advanced aging, and imaginary voices...so the old man likely is infected. Ultimately he succumbs to it and becomes a zombie.
Review
Whatever message this movie tries to convey, it's lost on me. It's over an hour long, and despite being a zombie movie with a lot of blood and guts, it becomes quite redundant. It would be a much better movie if it was condensed into 30 minutes by cutting out the majority of the scenes where the old man wanders alone with his imaginary voice. I think the biggest void in this movie is the complete lack of suspense. It's like one long stroll through the city with some zombie bashing along the way.

Best Zombie Kill
The old man meets another survivor and together they hide in a food mart for a bit. But when the situation gets hair the guy bails and leaves the old man to fend for himself. Later in the movie, after the old man has become a zombie himself, they meet again. This time the zombies tear the guy apart, ripping his body into pieces. The old man zombie takes the poor guy's detached head from another zombie and meanders away munching on it.
Memorable Scene
The old man gets separated from his walker and is trapped on a bridge by zombies from all directions. He makes his last stand on top of an abandoned car. Fortunately one of the zombies happens to have the walker around her neck and the old man lures her close enough to grab it. Reunited with his zombie smashing weapon, the old man wreaks havoc on the horde with a myriad of precise strikes. Like a kung fu master, he takes on many at a time and smashes their heads to bits with the walker.
