Movie Review by Al Fleshrot

Summary
During World War II the Nazi's (who else!) developed a super soldier that carried no weapons but killed with their bare hands. These soldiers were presumably zombies. Flash to the present and a boat carrying three crewmen and some sight-seeing passengers runs aground by an empty island with an abandoned hotel. The hotel is in fact inhabited by a lone old man who turns out to be the former commander of a squad of aquatic zombies that manned submarines. He warns the visitors to get off the island immediately, but alas it's too late. One by one everybody is killed by the zombies, until only one female escapes in a small rowboat and survives to record her tale for all of us to enjoy!

Review
Perhaps this was a semi-decent 70s horror flick, but it pretty much sucks as a zombie movie! I literally had trouble staying awake for the whole thing. The acting certainly isn't as bad as the typical B-movie, and the concept is interesting on paper, but the story is long and boring. Not one drop of blood, or even a gratuitous skin shot to keep you interested. The zombies themselves liked to creep around under water and they all wear dark goggles to protect their eyes from the sun. Pulling off the goggles seems to disable and even kill them.

Ed. Note - I decided to change the score to a 2 after later reviewing House of the Dead!

Zombie Traits

Speed 2 (Human)
Intelligence 4 (Human)
Strength 2 (Normal)
Zombie Sourcedeveloped by Nazi scientists as super soldiers

The zombies have decayed skin, but move just like normal humans. They wear dark goggles to protect their eyes from bright sunlight. They do not eat their victims.

Best Zombie Kill
Nothing to see here, just move along. Basically every zombie kill was strangulation/drowning.

Best Zombie Death
The only two solid kills I remember were zombies that had their goggles removed. They stumble around in the bright light and fall down...dead?

Memorable Scene
Nothing really.
